Reading blogs for pleasure

I was writing my last post when I realized something. There are hundreds of thousands of blogs out there, how many actually do get readers. (Certainly not mine).
So how soon would these bloggers just decide that without readers, blogging is just not worth it and soon they may stop posting.
But are these small time bloggers any less interesting than the few professional blogs that seem to get thousands of readers. No they aren't, on the contrary these small blogs are so much interesting that I can go on hours reading about the small things happening in other parts of the world. Even though the world is so different you can relate to experiences of other people from across the world. Its this that that we should celebrate. I took it upon myself to visit other blogs - the small blogs which don't recieve comments and just post a word of encouragement.
