A nation disgusted.
It is a plight every Indian has had to endure. It is something that I guess people in other countries face too, but there is something that I fail to understand in this problem. The problem of corruption. But I understand the reasons of corruption fully. Still I have failed to understand the way in which the corrupt continue to claim that they are innocent. This I think is a problem solely in India even after being caught on record, our so called elected leaders continue to harp that they are NOT GUILTY
NOT GUILTY they will plead in court cases, not gulity they say in front of commissions. Probably they are right. They may have been framed, who knows. They may have been the unlucky ones that couldn't strike a deal with the whistle blowers. We don't know. We are the public. But we know not.
Not that we are totally quiet either but the noise that we the public make is insufficient. Our voices are feeble , too feeble for the corrupt politicians, for those politicians abound who shout loud. Together they are able to drown the feeble voices of us people.
People too now must realise that they have power much more powerful than the noises they make. They have the power that decides, after all they are the COURT OF LAW .They are the judge.
Judges may decide that the politicians are not always be right. But sometimes they are .Maybe they were not guilty. Of course some one else must have been then.
Then GUILTY we are.
