Of teleconnectivity and dinners
Today i had dinner.Isn't that great.
Well if you don't find it great then what can i do. But I had dinner today.
Yup dinner.
The truth is that I did not expect to get dinner today. The mess here in IIIT operates till 9:30pm (offically) but actually the food starts running out at 9. And me like the fool I am sitting in the lab alone with nothing better to do, start watching Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle . It was real entertaining and real tasty too..the dinner I mean. Oh you wanted to know about the movie? Well I have not seen such a good movie for a long time.
How was the movie entertaining?
Hey this post is turning out to be a good Q&A post. .heh.heh.
Well at the dinner there was the guard(as i was late i expected no one to be there). His talks with his fellow colleagues kept me entertained...not that I understood much because I have no idea how to translate Telegu.
But for a brief part of the speech which was in hindi the only thing that entertained me are not reproducible.
Oh..the question was about movies...hehheh..still
In that part of the guard's speech is the matter of my post. Well our man, the guard switched from GSM to WLL CDMA technolgy. He has ditched the GSM company for a Reliance Infocomm mobile phone.
And he and the guy (just a kid actually barely, 18) who serves water were discussing the tariff p[lans on reliance vis-a-vis other operators.
Soon other fellow guards (well actually just one other guard) chipped in with their (his) talk of service in his home town (somewhere in UP).
Then I came down to blog when I realised that teledensity in India has increased to 9.68 per thousand.
We still have a long way to go in this country. A war has to be won but I think we can pride ourselves with the victories in little battles.
Btw I enjoyed dinner and the movie too . ;-)
